Explore Our Popular Kitchen Styles
Our kitchen factory Veneta Cucine offers a diverse range of kitchen cabinetry collections, each meticulously crafted to cater to various aesthetic preferences and functional needs. These collections are categorized into Modern, Timeless and Classic, with each family within these categories showcasing unique inspirations, materials, and design elements.
Modern kitchens
The Modern Collection is ideal for anyone looking for contemporary kitchen cabinets, showcasing sleek lines, innovative materials, and minimalist designs to create stylish and functional kitchens. Defined by clean lines and architectural simplicity, our modern collections feature flat-panel doors and handle-less designs. We utilize integrated finger-pull channels and recessed LED lighting to create a streamlined aesthetic that highlights the texture of the materials rather than the hardware.

Timeless Collection
The “Timeless” style bridges the gap between modern and classic. We often achieve this using a “slim shaker” door, a narrower frame that offers the warmth of traditional joinery with a lighter, contemporary feel. This approach allows for a flexible design that fits perfectly into both coastal and ranch-style homes.

Classic Collection
For homes that require a more traditional profile, we offer refined interpretations of the classic shaker door. These systems maintain the engineering advantages of European cabinetry while providing the framed aesthetic and decorative detailing often associated with heritage properties.

What Makes European Cabinetry Different?
Authentic Italian cabinetry is built differently at the core. All of our products are certified to European standards. We utilize structural components made from 100% advanced recycled engineered wood composites, which provide vastly superior density and stability compared to standard plywood or particleboard. Additionally, select laminate finishes in our collections feature verified antibacterial treatments, ensuring your kitchen surfaces remain hygienic and easy to maintain over decades of daily use.
European design prioritizes clean lines and ergonomic flow. Unlike American cabinetry that often relies on bulky hardware, our modern systems feature integrated finger-pull channels and recessed grips. This allows for a seamless “wall of joinery” aesthetic where the mechanism of opening the cabinet is built directly into the architecture of the door itself.
Studio Quattro delivers European-style cabinets manufactured to order in Italy through our partnership with Veneta Cucine. Every panel is cut and finished in the factory to ensure consistent grain matching and water resistance. The result is high-quality cabinets that do not feel like a built-in boxhapes the function of the kitchen and the finished look, especially when you want a clean, modern layout.

Studio Quattro Kitchen Designs FAQs
What is European kitchen cabinetry, and how is it different?
European cabinetry is best understood as an engineered system rather than just a box with doors. The design intent focuses on clean lines, smart storage integration, and a quiet architecture where hardware is often minimized or hidden. If you are comparing European kitchen cabinetry to standard domestic options, the practical difference lies in the frameless construction and the way function is built into the design plan rather than added later. This results in a kitchen that feels lighter, calmer, and more spacious.
What does Italian kitchen design look like in practice?
At Studio Quattro, Italian kitchen design means rigorous modernism balanced with durability. We follow the northern Italian tradition where the kitchen is a workspace first and a showroom second. Founder Dasha Nikishina lived in Como, Italy, working directly with manufacturers to understand this balance. When you choose this approach, you are prioritizing restrained proportions, sustainable manufacturing, and a fit and finish that remains sharp after years of daily use.
How do I choose between modern, classic, and timeless kitchens?
We simplify the vague labels found online. Modern kitchens feature flat panel doors, clean geometry, and details like LED lighting or integrated finger pull channels. Classic kitchens utilize the traditional shaker door profile to bring warmth and texture. Timeless kitchens, or Transitional, blend the two. We often achieve this using a slim shaker door that offers the familiarity of a framed look but with a lighter and contemporary edge.
What finishes and materials can I compare in the showroom?
You cannot choose a finish from a screen. In our design lab, we compare high quality laminate finishes, real glass in matte or glossy, stainless steel, and various lacquers side by side. If you are considering lacquer kitchen cabinets, seeing the depth of the color and feeling the surface texture is vital. We help you navigate the practical differences between matte, high gloss, and textured materials to ensure your kitchen handles wear and tear exactly how you need it to.
Do you install the kitchens?
Studio Quattro specializes in design, engineering, and supply. For installation, we coordinate with a network of vetted professionals who are specifically trained in installing European systems. We remain your advocate throughout the process by producing the technical drawings for electrical and plumbing, verifying site conditions, and checking the order upon arrival. This ensures you get the design precision of a specialized kitchen design studio with the peace of mind that the physical build is handled by certified installers.
How is pricing determined for custom projects?
The cost of custom cabinets depends entirely on the finish selection, interior accessories, and layout complexity rather than just linear footage. We focus on projects where we can deliver full value, which are typically complete room systems rather than single cabinet replacements. Our process includes photorealistic 3D renderings and detailed quoting to engineer your design to meet your budget without sacrificing the longevity or aesthetic impact of the final result.

Compare Finishes And Styles In Person
We believe you must touch a product to understand its value. In our Solana Beach design lab, you can work directly with our founder Dasha to physically compare the tactile difference between a high-gloss lacquer and a matte finish, or test the weight of a soft-close drawer. This hands-on process eliminates the guesswork of selecting materials from a catalog and gives you peace of mind that you know exactly what you’re getting.
Book A Design Lab Consultation
To ensure your project receives the detailed attention it requires, we recommend scheduling a private consultation. This allows Dasha to walk you through the specific modular capabilities of our systems and help you navigate the timeline of ordering authentic Italian cabinetry for your renovation.
