Custom Closets and Walk-in Closets in San Diego with Italian Cabinetry and a Clean European Style
Meet The Studio Quattro Team
Studio Quattro is a small, focused team built around design expertise, operational clarity, and a strong understanding of how cabinetry projects work. Our team works together from the first consultation through planning, ordering, and installation coordination to make sure each project moves forward smoothly. This continuity ensures that the same people who understand your design vision are also involved when the project moves into planning and installation preparation.
Dasha Nikishina
Founder and Principal Designer
Dasha Nikishina founded Studio Quattro Design after more than a decade working directly with European cabinetry manufacturers and design clients.
She was born and raised in Moscow in a family of architects, where design and construction were part of everyday conversation. That background led her to study interior design and eventually specialize in modern European cabinetry.
In 2010, Dasha began working directly with Italian furniture and cabinetry factories. Wanting to understand the process at a deeper level, she moved to Como, Italy, where many of the country’s leading manufacturers are based. Living there allowed her to learn how Italian cabinetry is designed, engineered, and produced before it ever reaches showrooms in other countries.
After Italy, she spent two years living in Shenzhen, China before relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area. There she helped grow a cabinetry company working with LUBE, one of Italy’s largest kitchen manufacturers, and helped build their San Francisco showroom from the ground up.
Today at Studio Quattro, Dasha leads all design direction. She works directly with clients to understand how they cook, store, and live in their homes so that cabinetry layouts reflect real daily life rather than generic catalog designs.
Her design philosophy centers on European modernism: clean lines, thoughtful functionality, sustainable materials, and cabinetry that performs as beautifully as it looks.
Sameer Singh
Partner and Chief of Operations
Sameer Singh brings the operational structure that allows Studio Quattro projects to move from design concept to finished installation.
Originally trained as an electrical engineer, Sameer has spent much of his career in the energy and solar storage industries. His analytical approach and project coordination experience help ensure that cabinetry planning, ordering, documentation, and communication remain organized throughout the process.
At Studio Quattro, Sameer primarily manages written communication, operational documentation, and project coordination to keep every stage of a project moving forward smoothly.
His role allows the design side of the business to remain creative while maintaining the structure needed to manage complex home renovation projects.
He is also married to Studio Quattro founder Dasha Nikishina, which means that design discussions won’t end just because the workday does.
How Our Team Works With You
Collaboration From the beginning
From the first consultation, the Studio Quattro team works together to understand both the design vision and the practical requirements of the space. Early planning allows cabinetry layouts, finishes, and materials to be selected with confidence before ordering begins.
A Showroom-centered design process
Most projects begin in the Solana Beach design lab, where clients can compare materials, finishes, and cabinetry systems in person. Seeing these elements together often helps clarify decisions much faster than reviewing photos alone, and Dasha can help guide you on the style that fits your vision and desires.
Coordinating with Contractors and Installers
Studio Quattro provides detailed cabinetry drawings that specify layout dimensions and locations for plumbing, electrical, and other building systems. Installation is completed by professional installers experienced with European cabinetry systems to ensure accuracy and proper fit.
